Immigrant Justice Fellowship

Immigrant Justice Fellowship

We would like to inform you that the Dream Resource Center (DRC) is currently looking for folks to apply to our Immigrant Justice Fellowship for 2019! For the 2019 cohort, we are seeking folks over the age of 18 who want to further their leadership in immigrant justice and rapid response work.

The Immigrant Justice Fellowship (IJF) is a California, statewide rapid response fellowship that serves as a platform for immigrant youth to protect and empower immigrant communities. IJF is an eight-month, part-time fellowship across six regions in California: Orange County, Inland Empire, Los Angeles, Central Valley, Silicon Valley, and Sacramento. One fellow is placed per region, from February 2019 to October 2019, and each fellow is partnered with a host organization for a total of 20 hours per week. For more information and to access the application, please visit the Dream Resource Center website.

Applications for fellows are due on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 11:59 PM PST.

We hope that you can help us share this message widely throughout your networks, even if you choose not to apply this year. If you know of anyone who would be great for this fellowship, you can fill out the Nomination Form – we will follow up with the nominee! Finally, we are also seeking host organizations for IJF 2019. If you or your organization are interested in hosting a fellow please take a look at our IJF Host Organization App Guide / FAQ.
